Gifts of Love: New Hymns for Today's Worship

This contains the lyrics for forty-five new hymns in a wide variety of topics-biblical stories, hymns about the church, hymns connected to seasons and special occasions in the church year. For each hymn text, one or more traditional, well-known tunes are suggested. Each tune is identified by name, a commonly known first line, and for convenience, page references to the hymnal of five denominations. In a separate section, Gillette gives comments and explanation of the background behind her composing of each hymn.
