We loved the one page of reading in the textbook (that pairs with this), and the simple pages of questions and map activity all included in the book itself. No extra printing required! Great choice for simply learning basic facts about the countries (which if you wanted more you could always pair it with reading assignments from an encyclopedia), and the straightforward approach to learning basic geography (major towns, rivers and mountains with surrounding lands) without too much fuss. I do recommend buying the teacher manual for grading purposes though unless you already know the answers yourself, which may drive up the cost a bit (so that's 3 books total). But on the plus side, it covers everything, and basically any child above age 7 or 8 could handle it pretty easily, although you may need to hold their hand a bit with the reading and answering the questions as that may seem a little daunting to the younger ones.
