This book calls on the reader to personally interact with the text of the Bible. To answer the questions one must continually go back and study the text of Genesis which in turn leads to a greater understanding of what God is saying. This is not just a cursory survey, but an involved study of the text.

We keep coming back to the life change studies because it takes us much deeper into the Bible. We are just beginning the Genesis study and we old timers to the Bible have learned new things about this book already.

As one would expect from the Navigators, emphasis is placed on learning a method of studying Scripture, with practical study techniques; and on application of the Word, with written commitments to apply in life. Also, solid academic and historical information is supplied. Writing and thinking through one of these book studies will give one an increased grasp and eagerness for the Word of God.

Our bible study group has gone through Romans, Revelation, and now we are in the Genesis Life Change bible study. It is also excellent. A good, meaty study, that will challenge and mature the participant.
