I loved the concept and story line, did not enjoy the presentation.3 Stars Out Of 5Genesis 7March 14, 2017I loved the concept and story line, did not enjoy the presentation.Quality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 1I just got this series and sat down to watch it. The story line was interesting and I could see where the creators where wanting to go. It is a very low budget film. I do not think the kids acting in it had any acting training or experience. They ran through the lines so fast most of the time we could not understand what they were saying. I had to rewind a several occasions to understand what was being said. My daughter watched it with me and we are not sure we would recommend this to anyone at this price at this point. I do think the concept and the way they wrote the story with the creationist view point is awesome. But some of the creation points were lost in the presentation from the actors who blew through their lines as if they were just trying to get through their lines without a mistake. This made the story hard to follow. I did enjoy and appreciate the writers putting in the plan of salvation. Note this was the first episode and I have not watched any others but will sit down and watch the rest and make another review.

JamesAlbany,NYAge: 45-54Gender: male4 Stars Out Of 5fun space exploration series - homeschoolers take noticeMarch 27, 2016JamesAlbany,NYAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 3Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4i got this 12 DVD series on a super sale at nine dollars. it is currently at twenty dollars and, in my opinion, worth the cost. the series mimics a 'star trek' type show, but successfully argues the creationist point of view over Darwinism and evolution. it is clearly low budget, however, anyone who follows film making can see a tremendous amount of effort went into the project. not to mention the spiritual warfare and prayer, as it argues for truth. the special effects are excellent for an independent film series. the music is original and well done. there are special features on each video that teach interesting science lessons about the solar system, giving credit to the Creator. the Name of Jesus and the Word of God, the Bible, are honored not only on the special segments but during the episodes of space exploration. the series becomes more interesting as a few episodes are watched, as they present it in serial form. there is an ongoing theme of some type of sabotage going on from the earth home base. the mystery thickens with each show. there are some drawbacks in the production but, overall, the series is done with excellence and Biblical integrity. i have only watched half of it thus far, but enough to see it is a solid project. the aforementioned drawbacks: the opening sequence (shown on each of the 12 DVDs), designed to show the dimensions of the spacecraft and introduce the characters, in television series fashion, is a bit long. but it can be skipped over after the first viewing. the actors are not professionals (yet). i say 'yet' because they clearly believe what they are teaching, which is Biblical truth and acting can be a skill developed. they are all very young and did a commendable and believable job. as amateurs, they are excellent. the ongoing humor is kind of dry, offbeat and a little 'corny' but grows on you as you begin to identify with the characters. very moral production. no bad language, sexuality or violence. overall, i would rate it G, or PG for space peril, with the exception of episode four, 'To Venus', which uses the arid, barren and stormy atmosphere of the planet to make a Biblical teaching on the reality and doctrine of Hell. again, parental guidance suggested there, but truth is presented from the Biblical account. i much encourage the team involved in the project for a job well done. i am reminded of other Christian production teams that started with independent, lower budget projects and have moved on to higher film making ground. the Kendrick brothers (facing the giants, etc), the Burns family (beyond the mask) the Christiano brothers (time changer, etc). keep pressing on. God has great things for you! : )
Q: How does this item address evolution?
This DVD series focuses on special creation from a Biblical perspective. It does not present evolution as an origin for the universe.
