Organized religions force many intelligent and thinking people throughout the modern world to sour on and/or outright reject God. In the process, any human desire or need to believe in something is frustrated. The author, a college sociology teacher, in exploring this subject reaches some intriguing conclusions. He suggests that one can still be a believer without having to be locked into atake it or leave ita religious dogma.
Most address this issue by looking at God via religious beliefs and then attempt to confirm or refute such beliefs. The author takes an entirely different tack in this regard. He explores what "actually" does and does not exist without having to resort to faith or beliefs.
The novelty of this is that rather than trying to prove or disprove something, only logic and common sense are needed.
