Gamma DVD

Math-U-See is a comprehensive, skill-based math curriculum for grades K–12 that follows a multi-sensory, mastery approach. With a clear, logical sequence, it helps students understand math concepts. Each lesson includes step-by-step instruction, video teaching (DVD or online videos), and hands-on manipulatives to reinforce learning. Parents present new concepts and guide students through the “build-write-say” strategy for practice and review. The Math-U-See Gamma DVD features 30 video lessons that focus on the multiplication of single and multiple-digit numbers along with solving for an unknown factor, measuring & computing area, using strategies based on place value and properties of operations to multiply, and more. In the video lessons, Demme helps parents understand how to teach each concept by using a whiteboard and larger magnetic versions of the blocks to show how to use them for each lesson.
