Product Description

Nijay Gupta’s contribution to the Story of God Bible Commentary series provides pastors and serious lay readers with an illustrative journey through what is considered Paul’s most passionate letter: Galatians. With a healthy balance of investigating Jew-Gentile relationships (à la the New Perspective) and contemplating the human-divine relationship (as per traditionally “Lutheran” readings of Paul), Gupta helps readers acknowledge Paul’s emphasis on justification by faith while also appreciating his theology of family, love, belonging, and adoption. For those desirous of an accessible, engaging, and fresh exposition of Paul’s message to the Galatian churches, this volume is a must-have.
