G.U.M.drops Grade 3

The G.U.M Drops (Grammar, Usage, and Mechanics) workbook series is designed to be used as a daily language arts supplement with a strong focus on editing. Each book covers 18 weeks of instruction (one semester).

Students edit passages from classic literature that have been appropriately leveled, abridged, and/or summarized for each grade. Worksheets covering each rule or concept, which often integrate practice exercises such as sentence completions, are provided before students are expected to edit.

This Grade 3 workbook includes 90 worksheets that cover complete sentences, sentence types, nouns, capitalization, verbs, pronouns, possessives, subject/verb agreement, helping verbs, alphabetizing, rhymes, synonyms, prefixes and suffixes, and more. The passages in this book were taken from the EDCON Classic Worktext series.
