We love this book! Fruit Full teaches all about the fruit of the Spirit as the evidence of God's presence working in our lives rather than just as a set of rules to follow. Christie writes in an accessible, child-friendly way that everyone in the family, big and small, can understand, and she invites us in to draw up living water, stay connected to the Vine, and grow in our relationship with Jesus through short devotions that help us understand how this fruit was manifested in Christ's life on earth.

The kids and I have only gone through the first few devotions so far, but I can already see that they're learning, and I'm excited to continue through the book. When asked what they like about the book so far, my 3-year-old said she liked the grapes on the front cover, but my 5-year-old said, "It teaches us about God and how to have a good attitude." When I asked him how we learn to have good attitudes, he told me it's not enough to just want to be good; we have to stay connected to Jesus and pray so that God can help us, so he likes doing our devotions because they help focus us on God. He was definitely paying attention to those first few devotions!

A few minutes later, both of my kids proceeded help me unload the dishwasher, fold an entire stack of laundry on the couch by themselves, take dirty laundry to the washing machine, and clean up part of the floor without being asked. I don't expect that level of extreme helpfulness to show up every day that we read from Fruit Full, but it shows me that God is definitely working in their little hearts.

If you're looking for an easy, accessible devotional to help your family grow in the fruit of the Spirit and in their relationships with God, definitely check this one out. We love it so far, and I'm sure you will too.

I love that this book is completely focused on abiding in the Spirit and not on striving to produce good character traits in our own strength. I love how the author gives strategies and ideas to help kids engage with their whole being. "Just like we can't tell an apple tree to try harder to bear fruit, we can't tell our kids to try harder to bear spiritual fruit....we need to be changed from the inside out."

I was one of the lucky pre-order customers to receive the book early. (Thanks, Amazon!)

By the third paragraph of Christie's letter to parents, I felt like she had sat at my kitchen table and personally witnessed some of the struggles I'd had that day.

By the next page, she flipped my thinking about the fruits of the spirit. Of COURSE the fruits are a by-product, not an action. How had I never thought about it that way before? And of course having my kids fall more in love with God is the best way (the only way!) they will look more like Him...not by "trying to love harder" or "trying to be create more patience"...whatever that means.

Having reminded me the key to spiritual fruit is a deeper relationship with God, she then gave me 100 activities of concise, insightful, accessible devotions to do just that with my kids.

What a wonderful book. Highly recommend to any young family trying to build a solid spiritual foundation rooted in a relationship with God. Thank you so much, Christie!

A Beautifully Illustrated and Written book by Christie Thomas. The book is colorful and it gets Children's attention.

I have seen and herd kids get excited about the Experiences, and fun times which really reaches kids hearts. The way it's written really makes it come alive! The whole concept is easier to understand and reinforces the meaning of "The Fruit of the Spirit" and it really reinforces the practical meaning behind it!

Great book for teaching kids to remain in Christ rather than trying to be good on their own

I really enjoyed going through this book with my 9, 7 and 4 year olds. The author focuses on bearing fruit through a relationship with Jesus rather than through our own efforts. I would recommend this to an Christian parents wanting to give their children a good grounding in the fruit of the Spirit and draw them into a closer walk with Jesus.
