From Glamour to Glory tells the story of Elaine Campanelli Santo, a former Miss Delaware and contestant in the Miss America Pageant. Here is the back cover blurb:
"Through many obstacles and her faith in God, a fatherless, underprivileged young girl lived out her dream by escaping the clutches of poverty and advancing herself to the Miss America Pageant. Elaine reveals her miraculous healing and continued trust in God's faithfulness through this life-altering account of His loving intervention and plan for her life."
Elaine Santo writes candidly, knowledgeably of the Word, and reveals herself as a true vessel used by God. Her very heart for the Lord shines through on every page. We see her overcome each roadblock the enemy puts before her, and cheer along with her in all the victories. This is a woman who uncompromisingly lives her life the way God intended for all of us.
We see what circumstances in her life lead up to becoming Miss Delaware, and how she ultimately won the battle over sickness that almost kept her from competing in the Miss America Pageant. We learn how she came to fulfill her life's calling, and her great success.
If you like Cinderella-type stories, you'll love this true telling of one of the Lord's most accomplished daughters.

Tell us a little about yourself. I've been happily married for 34 years, and together we raised 2 amazing children who serve the Lord and are also teachers with passion and purpose. I've been a special education teacher in the public school system for 18 years. God has used the classroom and me to demonstrate His love and miraculous power. I have a marvelous testimony of God's healing power and my experience with the Miss America pageant.
What was your motivation behind this project? I have had an amazing life with the knowledge and power of God working in it. He has demonstrated His power in my life for over 35 years and I felt compelled to write about His marvelous love and healing power. He took a poor little girl out of the projects and gave her life new meaning. I believe my testimony will inspire women and young girls to seek God.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? A greater trust and faith in Jesus. Hope and inspiration to never give up.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I'm just trying to be faithful to my Lord. I want to be obedient and fulfill my calling.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I love to worship and I enjoy truly anointed worship music.
