This book is about my life. The only redemption I got was when God took me into His arms and set me upon a solid foundation. To say that God cannot help me because I am too messed up and bad is not true. If God could reach down and pull me out of the slime pit I spent time living in, He can do the same for you. There is no mountain high enough or no valley low enough that the arm of the Lord cannot reach.
This book is about walking on a path of destructive choices, all the while not realizing in the midst of rebellion and selfishness there was a merciful God standing by and waiting for me to call out to Him.
I can say I am saved and on my way to heaven, and that is true. The ultimate aim is to inspire and encourage folks who are finding it difficult to believe that their lives can change. If one person is helped by my story, then I have succeeded in what I set out to do.

Tell us a little about yourself. Im married and live in Oregon right near the coast. The Oregon coast is the greatest! My wife and I (Nancy) run a small mini mall right in the heart of downtown Coos Bay. It is the biggest mini mall on the coast and maybe in the entire state of Oregon.
What was your motivation behind this project? I would have to say that the biggest motivating factor behind my book was that I do not want to die after a full life without sharing with others what is the most important thing in my life and that being that Jesus can change a life and do what no one else can do.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope folks will come away with two things. First of all that by reading my story it might be a starting out point from them to receive Jesus for themselves. The other thing is- that the body of Christ might be encouraged and built up by this story.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Truth is- it was hard reliving the past and having to get in touch with old feelings and pain. Writing means being honest and in this kind of world we live in- being honest is not always the way folks communicate anymore.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? David Wilkerson and Watchman Nee are two of my favorite authors.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Walking by faith is no mystery when one understands faith according to Bible defination. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
