So far it is great. It is very in depth, but each daily lesson is short, great for busy moms! The questions are thought provoking and we are really enjoying it.
Deb Ratliff5 Stars Out Of 5November 5, 2009Deb RatliffOur first Bible Study we used the Dee Brestin study "A Woman of Beauty" and loved it! We stayed with Dee's study for "The Friendships of Women". We liked the workbook format, and liked the way the questions easily led into discussions. We just started this study, but like it so far. Thank you.
Sarah2 Stars Out Of 5April 4, 2009SarahIt is easy to read, but the questions become quite redundant - and almost unnecessary, like they were there just to make the book appear thicker. Unfortunately our small group dragged through the chapters painfully slow because I think their interest was lost less than halfway through. We agreed to speed through the last few chapters with less depth so we could just end it.
Linda Steadman2 Stars Out Of 5April 8, 2008Linda SteadmanThe study is OK but not great. Some of her stated information does not agree with the Bible. I found this to be hard to teach, I didn't have much confidence after finding that. I wish our group had done something else.

Ask a Question▼▲
Q: Friendships of Women by Dee Brestin I am starting a bible study in January 2013. Which books to I order for my group? There is the new 20th anniv. book and the original study guide. Do they mesh together? How do I purchase a book and study guide that is cohesive? I'm concerned I will order the wrong books.
This study guide is actually written as a stand-alone study, so the book is not necessary. The book can be used to complement and augment the study.
