One dark night, ten-year-old Cassie Bennett cried out to God to send an angel to help her. Mary Ann McRaney, who has a Masters Degree in English, was a middle school English teacher for over thirty years. Recently retired, she now works part time as an adjunct instructor for a local junior college. Friends Forever is her first book. She hopes to continue reaching young people with positive Christian messages in her writing. Her husband, also a retired educator, passed away in 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She lives in Diamondhead, MS with her poodle Max.
