What if the most pressing sin of our day was invisible, hidden deep inside our hearts? What if its secret nature affected every aspect of our lives and relationships so quietly and insidiously that most of us never made the connection between the sin and its tormenting symptoms?
Bestselling author Bruce Wilkinson believes that unforgiveness is that sin. Through dynamic stories of worldwide personal ministry and solid biblical teaching, Wilkinson awakens readers to recognize and respond to their own secret wounds and the devastating unforgiveness that they can produce. The forgotten link between suffering and harbored unforgiveness is laid bare through the teachings of Jesus but it doesn't stop there.
The Freedom Factor isn't just another book about forgiveness; with pastoral sensitivity, Wilkinson leads readers through an interactive process of forgiveness that is simple, profound, and absolutely life changing.

The Freedom Factor is vintage Wilkinsonmy favorite since his life changing book, Secrets of the Vine. This is a book that will motivate a reader to forgive, as well as show them how.
The unfortunate beauty of this book is that everyone is in dire need of it, whether they know it or not. Forgiveness is not a choice, nor is it a luxury; it is an imperative. We cannot hope to live in peace and freedom unless we learn how to forgive others and ourselves in the once-and-for-all manner that Bruce describes so well.
This book will produce enormous life change in anyone with an open heart to the invitation God has for themfreedom.
I did not realize how much weight I was lugging around on my back, and pretending it wasn't there, until I read this book. Unforgiveness is carrying around a backpack of varying weights of painful hurts and brokenness that attracts more weights of pain, making life harder and heavier. Reading this book, helped me unload the unforgiving weight I was under, one painful hurt after another. I think regularly now about forgiveness, and take personal stock whether I'm allowing any unforgiveness to creep back into my life's backpack.
This could be the catalyst for a revival. Christ's church is soaking in bitterness, anger and resentment. A fantastic book that must be widely read.
