Some may find it a difficult read, being in period language (16th century); but after a bit of reading, what's written flows wonderfully. If one struggles with the prose in the KJV, this is definitely not for you. There are more modern renderings of Foxe, but the beauty and flavor is lost. It's tantamount to where both beauty and detail are lost through modern translations of the KJV.
Vickey Murphy4 Stars Out Of 5understanding the King's EnglishJanuary 27, 2016Vickey MurphyQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Interesting book, had to stop several times to check definition of some word's used in the 14-16th century, ie. Ague means malaria to our generation. Felt like I was in medieval times.
