Publisher's Description

Four PAWS and Lucky Little Duke Dog are about four small dogs named Jessie, Max, Itty-Bitty and Preston who meet Duke Dog at a dog park. They immediately like each other and Duke Dog asked them to sit and talk. Duke Dog has a story to tell them and he wants Four PAWS and us to listen to his story and learn from it. Moral lessons are cleverly woven into the adventures of Duke Dog and the plotline rounds out to a very loving ending. Long Nose Pete is a mysterious and powerful character in this children's tale and the children will question as to what kind of character is Long Nose Pete. Is Long Nose Pete good or bad? There is also an opportunity to discuss what to do if small readers get lost like Duke Dog. There are other life lessons in the story as well. In summary one day Dog Duke became lost in the forest. Duke Dog was all alone but he was not. Long Nose Pete was hiding behind a tree watching Duke Dog. Who is Long Nose Pete? Is he someone to be scare of or is he protecting Duke Dog.
