In this dynamic companion to the book Forgotten God, breakthrough author Francis Chan reminds us of the true source of the churchs power-the Holy Spirit. Chan contends that weve ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, we operate in our own strength, only accomplishing human-sized results. This seven-session video resource offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirits direction in our lives. It is designed to initiate and facilitate discussion, interaction and practical application of the message of Forgotten God. Francis thought-provoking teaching makes this a valuable resource for small groups, churches, youth groups, and college campus ministries. Features include:
- Seven sessions for individual or group study.
- Discussion questions and prompts led by Francis Chan.
- Behind the scenes out-takes and additional bonus components.
A pastor and church planter based in San Francisco, Francis Chan speaks to tens of thousands of people around the world every year. Known for his passionate, biblical style, Chan is on the board of World Impact and is the author of Forgotten God, Erasing Hell, and Crazy Love, which has sold nearly two million copies.
Al5 Stars Out Of 5Wow!!!May 5, 2017AlQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I've have other Francis Chan material, and I didn't like it that much. They were choppy, seemed disconnected, scatterbrained, and confusing. His overall points were excellent, but the imagery didn't always make sense. So when I purchased this DVD for our group Bible Study, I was a little weary.
Boy was I WRONG!!!
Chan's points, again, are clear and to the point. He goes for the jugular with his words and images that are portrayed on the screen. I, and my group, have absolutely loved this DVD complement to the workbook and book as we've been studying this material. There have been times when some have wondered where Chan was going in his talk, but in the end...all of us were left spell-bound.

Our small group is watching this DVD and going over the accompanying study guide. Overall, the DVD sessions are very short (between 5 and 11 minutes) and so far, our group has had a hard time understanding his point during the teaching time and how it applies to the teaching material. It seems as if he's just speaking off the top of his head without having a clear direction. Our group just finished a DVD/study guide series from a different teacher and maybe we're just used to seeing more didactic teaching.

Our Bible study group is going through the videos along with the workbook and we are all finding it quite valuable.
