Very disappointed in this book & her teaching, as i have been with all her books. I did not like that she quoted Martin Luther a well known anti-Semitic. That was a major red flag for me to close the book & throw it in the garbage can, which I did. It will benefit more to read scripture on forgiveness & ask God for the ability to do so. Not a fan of her teaching-too fake.

i used the companion journal while reading chapter each day. it helped me get to the root of my bitterness. favorite quote, if you are hysterical it is historical. chapter on boundaries spoke to me

Thank you Lisa, I know that this is not how you expected your life to be but God has used you for a greater purpose. Your words and your pain spoke deeply to me and helped me see how wrong I've been. I feel like a whole new person and I am praying more than I ever have and feel closer to God than I thought wasnt possible and its only the beginning. I hope someday we run into each other so I can just give you a big hug and thank you in person. you are an amazing woman and I can see just how special you are to God. thank you and may peace always be with you.

I m leading a group of ladies with this right now and we all agree it s her best so far of the ones we ve done by her. A lot of truth from her life and alot of scripture. I dont think she means for this to take the place of any serious counseling someone may need but a great beginning. You ll want to take your time with this book and the study guide. Forgiveness is definitely only just the beginning of dealing with deep pain...

This book is very well written and very thought provoking, as are all Lisa's books. Can be life changing for those of us who have been hurt and are still living with the effects.
