Forgiven, Favored, & Free by Jill M. Tomlinson is a valuable and practical, inspirational resource. The truths that she shares, supported by scripture, are powerful. The Christian is so much more and worth so much more than most realize, if one is living in close relationship with the triune God. She helps a person to discover the God-given rights bestowed upon each person who trusts in Jesus for salvation. Some chapter titles are Complete Health, Walking in Freedom and Favor, Authority and Effective Prayer, and so many others. Each chapter can be read and reread to provide help as needed. I read the entire book once but intend to use this as a reference, perhaps studying a chapter a week with devotions to reinforce the truths/lessons until they penetrate deeply. I recommend this resource to anyone who wants to transform his mind, receive encouragement, and begin to walk as a true heir of God with all of the resources available to His children. I received this book through TBCN in exchange for an honest review.

Review Title: Flourish in Your Status (review of Forgiven, Favored, & Free by Jill M. Tomlinson)

    Reviewer: Janice S. Garey

This book is eye and soul opening to the magnitude of what is available to believers in Christ. Many are stuck in between the initial salvation experience and the full daily freedoms we should be knowing through our relationship with Christ. The author has been there and done that so she wants to help others know the full freedom she has recognized and attained.

This book is worthy to be owned by every Christian as a help for their own spiritual growth and as a book that they can give to others. New Christians and long time Christians will both benefit from reading this book. I envision many uses for this book such as small group studies, help for those in prison ministries, and maybe as a gift to those in new members or prospective members classes at churches. It's good for people to learn up front all the benefits and joys they can know when they fully live in Christ.

I thank the author, publisher, and bookfun.org for giving me this book in exchange for an honest review. Read this book, Christians, and enjoy all He did for your benefit on the cross!

Forgiven, Favored, & Free is a compellingly insightful treatise on how believers in Christ can live the abundant life He came to give us. Jill M. Tomlinson does an excellent job of encouraging readers to more fully know God so we can learn to trust Him more fully and become more rooted in the truths of His word. This intimacy with God is recognizing our position as children of the King and practicing the presence of God throughout our everyday living. Tomlinson writes of the design of God that we recognize that we are His children and that we become aware of His kingdom and how God works in this world and in individual lives. Our Spirit man is perfected at salvation and our soul man is being perfected as we continue to know who and whose we are. The book is replete with scripture to back up the principles that are put forth. Recognition of the Father being at work in our lives enables us as His children to pray with authority and effectiveness, to live our lives with His power and protection, and to understand more fully what it means to be prosperous in the body and spirit. This is an encouraging book teaching of hope, faith and the love of the King of Kings, a book to be reread, meditated on and the principles therein to be lived out in the believer's life.

I received a copy of this book through The Book Club Network (bookfun.org) in exchange for my honest review.

This was an interesting book. I hadn't really thought about the troubles in our lives sometimes being there because of our lack of tapping into what God has given us through salvation. I wasn't completely sure that I agreed with her on everything she said but, I did see where in some of our circumstances our attitude and knowing who we are in Christ will affect that situation. She brought out several good points about Christians and how we should live because we are Forgiven, Favored and Free. We as Christians too often live as if we are in the dark when we have the light inside of us all the time. This book would be good for those who just can't seem to let go of the past or can't seem to believe that they deserve what God has done for them through salvation. A good book to read and ponder on as we live for Christ. As with all books dealing with your spiritual life, I recommend you prayer and ask the Lord for discernment as you read. I was blessed with this book in exchange for my review through TBCN. A positive review was not required.

This book speaks to all of our hearts, no matter where you are at on your spiritual journey. I loved the all the truths that Jill pulled out of the Bible and brings to light. Things we need to grab a hold of and let seep into our hearts.

Jill said so many things that touched me but I will only share one with you. On page 85 she writes: Wherever you go and whatever you do, God goes with you. Your employer, the businesses you frequent, and the people in your life are all blessed because of the favor of God on your life.

As a teacher that really impacted me as I thought of my students. Who can be blessed in your life because of Gods favor on you? Something to think about, thats for sure.

If you need to hear the message that your are forgiven, favored and free then this is a must-read for you. Allow these words become real to you and live in the truth of them.

A copy of this book was given to me The Book Club Network Inc. in exchange for an honest review.
