Publisher's Description

Have you longed for a place of acceptance? People allowing you to be yourself? Forgiven is based on a network of women who have come together, asking little of each other, realizing the past has formed them but the future will release them from the secrets and mistakes.

Ellen Anderson is the rock of faith, though her life will be shaken when her daughter is kidnapped. Beatrice, the widow, finds life goes on regardless of death or grief. Anne, divorced and alone, struggles full of fear, searching for peace and a way to reunite with her little boy. Harriet Becker has lived with a secret; she considers an unforgiven sin that has caused her to become a recluse from society.

When the four women find their lives entwined rather than entangled, they find truth in the old saying, "Trouble shared is trouble halved." Ellen's faith becomes their creed. "Time may lead me nowhere, though I press on. My faith may break into pieces, but I know within my being, when I falter God is there." Will each woman find peace? Does God have a plan for their lives? Will the friendship, that wonderful network of caring, last when a little girl is kidnapped?

Tell us a little about yourself.  Hello, I'm happy to see my book, Forgiven made it to Christianbook.com! Forgiven has received many good reviews and I wish I could list them for you to see. Now that you have met the characters I hope you will read the second book in this series, Forbidden. A few of the problems in Forgiven are resolved. Forsaken is going through publishing process now at Westbow Press. The people in the three books are much like you and I, if you observe closely I believe you will see a situation comparable to someone you know. I don't think you will be disappointed in Forbidden or Forsaken. Thanks for reading!

What was your motivation behind this project?  Observation of young women struggling in today's world, looking for a better world and Ellen found that way years ago. Now as she relies on her Heavenly Father we see the other ladies wondering how she retains calm in the midst of the storms around them. Ellen is all the young women who plan for a better life.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope if they haven't seen the Lord at work in lives, these books will bring encouragement to their lives. TO have peace in the midst of chaos is a wondrous thing, and Ellen does. She spreads faith, by living it and becomes an example to others.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I found myself reading scripture more and as it opened up to me, I found each day blessed as I shared that knowledge through my characters in the books.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Lavyrle Spencer, Jan Karon, Fern Michaels, Daniell Steele.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:   Read the book. You my know someone who will not accept the traditional witnessing through church background, but this is one on one in a park setting. You can't lose.
