Betrayed by a loved one, it's easy to allow the pain that stabs the heart to leave behind ugly scars of bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. But it doesn't have to be that way.
In this book, Joy Haney shows you how to experience grace under the pressure of hurtful experiences. Walking through the fire of bitterness and devastation, you can rise to a new level of refinement and forgiveness and learn to make choices that lead to spiritual growth instead of despair. You will be challenged to walk in a new dimension of strength as the wisdom of God brings healing to your mind and spirit.
A pastor's wife, mother of five, and grandmother of ten, Joy Haney is the wife of the late Bishop Kenneth F. Haney, former General Superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International. In addition to being a dynamic supporter of Bishop Haney's ministry, Joy traveled extensively worldwide speaking at retreats and prayer conferences. She also served as host for two radio programs heard in California, Nevada, and Wyoming. She has lived in Stockton, CA and St. Louis, MO and plays piano and organ, as well as singing in her church choir. She has also found time to author over 40 books, all on Christian topics.
