Product Description

A is for Abigail: An Almanac of Amazing American Women is a wonderful book that not only highlights the most famous women in American history, but the many lesser-well-known women who were early educators, pioneers, inventors, artists, and trailblazers. The intricate illustrations and text fill every space on the page and give students the opportunity to learn about the many women who contributed to the America we know today. Notes in the back of the book further elaborate on each letter's theme. Ages 6-12.

Filled to the brim with words and pictures that celebrate the remarkable (although often unmarked) achievements of American women, this is a book to relish and to read again and again.
