This book is the Fourth in a series of books designed to provide a personal look at the lives of key characters found in the Bible. The theme Following God is one that emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with God, living a life totally surrendered to His leading. Examples are giving of those who receive blessing from a surrendered walk with God as well those who did not follow His direction. This Bible study is designed in an interactive format, incorporating important scriptural points of interest. Other features include a look at the characters mentioned from a historical perspective, as well as interesting facts, about the time these characters lived.

Tiffany5 Stars Out Of 5A lot to learnOctober 23, 2014TiffanyI haven't been a big fan of the fill in the blank sort of Bible studies in the past and wasn't sure I'd like this one, yet when I began doing the daily studies, after prayer of course, God showed me so many things that I didn't really know before. I certainly have a lot to learn. I liked this study so much I'm seriously considering doing other studies in the Following God series.

CJL5 Stars Out Of 5October 21, 2009CJLExcellent, in-depth Bible study. Each study gives incite into the life of an Old Testament Prophet and brings out special lessons that I can apply to my own life (following God when those around you do not, putting down the idols in our lives, etc). This is my third Bible study from this series (I also highly recommend the study on the tabernacle).
Rae Baer4 Stars Out Of 5August 8, 2009Rae BaerI am about to embark on a series of OT Prophets for my Sunday Bible class, and found this book. I like the format, especially the historical context. What I am disappointed in, though, is that this does not include all of the OT prophets. This is great for an overview study!
