EXPERIENCE A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD THROUGH A STUDY OF 3:16 VERSES!
From the experiences of Abraham and Moses, to Jesus' life on earth, to the return of the Lord, Scripture reveals a tremendous amount to believers on how to live a life of devotion to God. Author Jennifer Devlin wants every Christian to know the magnitude of God's merciful plan for our salvation, and how every portion of the Bible fits together to reveal His plan for mankind. In Life Principles for Christ-Like Living, Jennifer offers a deeper understanding of key concepts and how they relate to the Christ-like life. Many of these key concepts are found in different "3:16" verses throughout the Bible, and a different "3:16" verse will be examined in each week's lesson. readers examining these key verses will learn to discover how events of Jesus'time on earth fit so clearly with who they are in Him, and they will discover that the acions, encouragements, and corrections from Jesus and His disciples have a great impact on how they are to live in Him. Study participants will recognize the dangers of complacency and will prayerfully find a passion for their Lord and His word that will extend far beyond this twelve-week- study.
Jennifer Devlin serves as director of Ministry for Life and is Bible study teacher, published author, and speaker. Jennifer has served within many community organizations and in women's ministry at local and regional levels, including a stint as the Southeast Region Coordinator for the Protestant Women of the Chapel, an international ministry, serving women of the military chapel system. Jennifer lives in Huntsville, Alabama, with her husband Bob(retired Army Colonel) and son Owen.
"If your heart desire is to become a devoted follower of Christ, then 'Following God' will serve as a compelling roadmap."

Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a Bible teacher, speaker and writer who has a passion for the Great Commission. My time is spent serving in women's ministry, encouraging women's groups through conferences and retreats, and traveling abroad to various nations sharing the gospel.
What was your motivation behind this project? When we look at the 3:16 verses of the New Testament together, we get a glimpse into God's big picture story. I'm fascinated by how each passage links to the next, creating a rich tapestry of the history of our faith, the power of Jesus' ministry and gift of salvation, and life application principles we need for daily living.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? A deeper understanding of who God is, and who they are in Him. By understanding concepts such as the authority of Scripture, the Law, the Abrahamic Covenant, the Trinity, eternal life, and our sanctification process, the reader will be equipped to live each day in the victory we have through Christ alone.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? God always teaches us most when we are researching, dwelling on, and teaching His precepts doesn't He? I learned so much! This project began as a path of obedience between a messed up girl and her Savior, and continues to impact me as I look at how He is using this study to bring others closer to Him. Jesus impacts everyone who seeks Him.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Wow. How cliche is it to say that Jesus is my inspiration? Sorry, but He is. There are some incredible teachers in our Christian community, from John MacArthur to Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, etc. But my prayer is that God alone has had the biggest impact on my life.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I also have a six week study out with Randall House, titled "Verses We Know by Heart: Discovering the Details of Familiar Old Testament Passages" - I'd love for you to check it out! More information about my ministry and speaking availability is found at ministryforlife dot com.
No, we do not have a study/leader's guide for this Bible study.
