Since 1990, she has been published in periodicals, drama venues, devotions, and both fiction and nonfiction books. Her fiction projects include the award-winning Serenity Bay (2000) and Thin Air (2002), both with Bethany House Publishers. Nonfiction projects include Encouraging Words for the Firs 100 Days (AMG Publisher, 2003).
Bette and her husband Kim have four grown children and make their home in Puyallup, Washington.
