Marks writes in a warm, humorous, oh-so-human manner that captures the lighter side of life. Each short chapter keeps you wanting to read more. Marks leaves you laughing. Though written in a way more women would enjoy then men, my great big he-man husband, who almost never thinks what I find funny is funny, laughed out loud at one of her accounts.
For when you've had one of those days, Flying by the Seat of My Pants is the perfect book to relieve the stress. Marks will touch your funny bone or your heart and show you that things could have been worse. You could have had to force your size 12 body into a size 2 uniform! -- Debbie W. Tell us a little about yourself. I've been a Flight Attendant since just after the world was formed. I've been a mom for 8 years, to little Mandy Marks, and I've been married to the wonderful man of my dreams for 18 years.
This is my forth book. If you're looking for something more like a Bible study book, check out my other books sold here at Christianbook.com
What was your motivation behind this project? My publisher asked for a book that would be a commercial success, but still be written from a Christian world view.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Sometimes relaxation comes in the form of a good read that is funny and family friendly. I hope to offer a break from regular duties, as you read about my life on the airplane and as a struggling author. And I hope you are encouraged to dream, and let God take care of fulfilling the desires of your heart. Also, this is the ideal gift to give to someone who likes to read fun books!
