Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am 45 years old, mother of two grown children. I currently reside in North Carolina. My story is one of grace: God's grace has brought me through many valleys, and as He promised, that grace has always been sufficient.

What was your motivation behind this project?  My motivation for sharing these life-lessons is found in Second Corinthians 1:3-4. "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." Basically, these verses are teaching that God gives us grace and strength to face our troubles, so that we can then go and share His grace with others who are facing trouble.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  We all go through difficult times; it's part of the human experience. God can be honored and glorified in our trials if we respond properly to them. I hope people will be encouraged to use their hard times to bring honor to God.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  This book started as my own personal journal, as I learned how to respond to the hurts and disappointments of my own journey. In turning it into a book for others, I was reminded of the many times God has shown Himself real and personal and powerful in my life.
