A very cute set. Noah has sandals, a beard, a bald head, and is holding the dove. Very correct details on him. Four of the animals have other birds on them. The individual pieces are nice, BUT whoever designed the ark could have done a much better job: 1. There are holes very close to the bottom which precludes the possibility of this toy being a floating tub toy. It will fill up and sink, or, since there is more weight on one side of the top, it may capsize. 2. The ramp is so steep and the door is so short that none of the figures can go through the door without the child just dumping them inside. 3. There is one peg on which to place Noah or an animal on one side of the top deck. Why not a second peg on the other side? There are two pegs on the roof. The floor is embossed with designs of hay, but when you try to stand up an animal to look out the window, the bottom of the figure is partly on the "hay" and partly not. This makes for a wobbly ride. I wish there would have been more pegs to hold all the animals so they were all secure as the child moves the ark around. 4. There is a red gate for animals to go into a sort of pen on the top deck, but there is no back wall, so the animals are not contained by either pegs or a wall. They fall over and out because of this and more embossing on the floor 5. When the toy arrives, you have to remove the top from the base. Instructions were given, but I did not have the strength in my hand to press and lift. Then after I took out all the figures, I didn't close it up as tightly as I should have and the top and bottom came apart when I lifted it up by the "handle." It's not really a handle; it's just the top of the ark. Some of FP toys have an actual handle, but not this one. 6. The figures all fit inside the ark, but some of them can fall out of the windows. If this is to be a take-along toy, please be aware of that. Christian Books is not to blame for what I consider design flaws. They ship VERY quickly. Faster than any other on-line or catalog company I have ever dealt with. Their packaging is superb! Everything comes in extremely strong boxes with good padding. Do not hesitate to order from this company. I would recommend this set for its cuteness, but be aware of its shortcomings.
