Just received my set, and it is NOT the set pictured. It is the newest style nativity with the skinnier little people that Fisher Price has been releasing recently. I ordered this set specifically because it was the older style of little people that CBD has pictured. I watched the CBD video about the set and everything to make sure I was purchasing the set that I wanted. I am supremely disappointed in CBD. Not to mention their return process is seriously antiquated too.

Love how this looks, have checked it out, but won't buy it until the set includes shepherd!

So glad to have found this Little People Nativity set...I searched online looking for this particular 18 pc. nativity. Most versions still available do not have as many pieces. The only thing that would have made it perfect is if it included at least one shepherd. Why Fisher Price neglected to include one is beyond me, as the shepherds are a vital part of the Christmas story.

This is a wonderful little toy that also has a meaningful purpose. The Little People Toys are durable, as well, which makes it a long-lasting toy that can stand up to rough todders. We actually have 2 add-ons to this set, which are not available at CBD. For those complaining about there being no shepherds, it is because they are in add-on sets. I know the add-ons were available directly from Fisher Price when we got ours. With the add-ons, we have an inn and well, plus innkeeper and young girl character, and camels and tents for the three wisemen, some additional animals and 2 shepherds. My kids and their friends can play with this set throughout the Holiday season and never lose interest. I like to see how each of them sets the various components up. And the Christmas story is constantly being reinforced and acted out, which makes it valuable playtime. I highly recommend this set!

This is a great Nativity set for young children who want to play with the pieces as they learn about Jesus' birth. Fisher Price toys have always been some of the best, and this set continues that tradition. It has a light, plays "Away in a Manger," and includes a rolling cart, which children will also enjoy. It is a large, almost complete Nativity set. However, there is one important piece missing--a shepherd. There is a sheep, so it can be explained that the shepherd had to go back to tend his flock. Otherwise, no complaints. My grandkids are all too old for this, but I look forward to some great-grands someday, and will put this out for their use during the Christmas season. It seems to be as sturdy as other FP toys. I might yield to temptation and set it out at Christmas anyway, along with my other Nativity sets this year. :) I hope these will always be available.
