Farmer Pig's cat is stuck up in a tree; Little Bunny falls down the well; there's a fire in the hippopotamus's bakery. After each modest adventure Fireman Small goes back to the station and tries to get to sleep. Although at the end of the story he stretches, yawns and crawls into bed and finally goes to sleep, young listeners may want to hear the whole tale one more time. For ages 2 to 6.
Fireman small has a busy day rescuing people and fighting fires . . . and it's not over yet. Just as he's preparing for a good night's sleep, the fire bell rings yet again.
