Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  Hi. I'm the author of Finding Your Part in God's Master Story. Before settling in as a stay-at-home mom, I was a practicing attorney and a college instructor. When my children were young, I did a lot of volunteer work and started writing books. I'm a lifelong student of the Bible who loves to help other Christians develop a strong Christian worldview.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Finding Your Part in God's Master Story developed as I pursued a master's degree in biblical studies. I was intrigued by James Sire's definition of worldview that said, "Each major worldview has its own metanarrative, its own master story." I love stories, and I thought it would be great to explore different ways Christian understand the master story of what God is doing in the world.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  My intent is not to tell anyone what the "right" answers are to the big questions of Christian theology. But by looking at different ways Christians have answered some of these questions, I hope to help my readers form a worldview that is consistent, comprehensive, and, most of all, biblical.
