Having read a slew of books on dementia, I still vote that studying this book

is very valuable. It has good suggestions for how to interact with our demented

friends/family. I passed it on but will reread it. And I purchased a copy for our

    church library.

Wonderful book! Love the way Dr. Dunlop writes, so gentle and kind. Love the precious prayers at end of every chapter. We must glorify God in our caring of dementia patients-afterall, we are all made in God's image.

A well-written book that is informative, sensitive, and touches on the disease of dementia from both a medical perspective and the day-today challenges faced by the one who suffers from it and their caregiver. The author is a geriatric physician who has a heart of compassion for the elderly, and lives out his faith in the Lord. Wish we had more physicians like him.
