There are so many choices, but not enough time to do the research. Could that be one of the reasons that there are a lot of Christians who do not go to church? Instead some choose to study the bible at home with their loved one. It is important to understand what kind of church that you would want to be part of because this is where you are going to receive you spiritual nourishment. To make an informed decision it's important first to understand the beginnings of the church, today churches, and how to fine a church that works for you.
When God originally set up His Church He gave detailed instructions of what was to be done, down to the smallest detail, and how it was to be done leaving nothing to chance. God sent his only son Jesus so that we would know the Father. Jesus taught us how to how to pray. When Jesus was called up to heaven, he left his twelve apostles to spread the good news to the people of the world. The word spread and many believed that Jesus Christ was the long awaited Messiah.
Each person must make that choose of what church that they will attend themselves. With everything that is going on today it is important to have a church where you are growing in the words of Jesus. You might not always feel comfortable, but that can be a part of growth. We need to be ready for Jesus when he comes back for us.
