Tell us a little about yourself. I surrendered to the call of pastoral ministry at the age of 38 after a very successful career in the secular world with a International known company. I have pastored people in Georgia, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Mississippi. This is my second book and I intend to write a book of prophecy as well as children's books in the future.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted an easy to understand book on the expectations God has on believers and how they could know how they are doing with His expectations. I have explained God's Word in simple terms and there are easy to administer tests after the chapters so the reader can apply God's Word to his or her own life to determine where he or she is in relation to where God expects them to be.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? A better knowledge of Scripture and an idea of how their lives "stack-up" to God's requirements. This is an amazing opportunity for the reader to really gauge his or her life with what the Bible teaches. I know of no book quite like this one!
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The impact this book has had on me is the same as the impact I hope it has on all who read it. I have been challenged with my own test scores to realize I'm not as good a student as I could be, but there are opportunities for growth even for me!
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This is a book that must be read and taken seriously. It will challenge even the most "mature" Christian and help all readers to grow more and press on with their own walk of faith. What could be more important than for a believer to "self-test" to see where he/she really is with God?
