Since when has being feminine been taboo? Recent trends in image definition have harmed how women perceive themselves and their roles in society. In Fight Like A Girl, Lisa Bevere helps women restore their confidence, improve their relationships, and grow their faith by embracing the differences between the sexes instead of trying to eradicate them. She explains what it looks like to fight like a girl and how to set a new standard for future generations of women.

Today's twisted pictures of gender roles create confusion over how a woman should define herself. Women and men are encouraged to move closer to center and away from the traits that distinguish male from female. How can women feel good about themselves when society is constantly dictating what they can and should be? In FIGHT LIKE A GIRL, Lisa Bevere exhorts us to embrace the differences between sexes. Her goal is to encourage women to celebrate the unique aspects of femininity. Instead of trying to adopt ill-fitting character traits, women should see themselves as designed and valued by God and savor their femininity as their strength, not a flaw.

The book/workbook/DVD have been very helpful in looking at the Scriptual vs. Worldview of feminine and masculine. Also, shows what tools the Word gives women in dealing with passing on the promises of God to the next generation. Has given great basis for conversation of how the world has tried to steal what the Lord has given.
GodsGirl3 Stars Out Of 5March 1, 2009GodsGirlMy Wednesday night Ladies Bible study class was using this book. I always purchase the book (if possible) from Christianbooks.com. The book is ok. Good subject. Well written. Themes are easy to understand. I personally was not extremely moved. However each person is different, so it might be an outstanding book for someone else.
