JW5 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful product and ideaNovember 28, 2016JWQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I'm new to this information. Just became aware of Gods celebrations and feasts days for his people (the bible says Gods people, not just the Jewish people). I'm so excited to see how the festivals and feast days all point to our Savior Jesus and how He was the fulfillment of them. It's all so amazingly wonderful and these pull-out charts help to quickly view the information so that you can track the celebrations easier. The information about what each festival or feast is about and how Jesus fulfills them is nice on these. I purchased these as gifts. They are laminated so they will be easy to keep clean, they will hold together well even after years of use and last. Great item.

Jewish Roots of Believers in Yeshua (Jesus)
By Rose Publishing
The feasts of the Jewish people were very important to them. The feast was a way to honor God and to worship Him. They were celebrations of things God did for them, like freeing them from bondage, giving them victory and other thing. They celebrated the feast to remember that God loves them and will be with them. This pamphlet will explain each feast; give a date, the Hebrew name and fulfillment by Yeshua (Jesus). Charts show the Holiday, known by name, date observed and scripture basis. A general information section describes each feast. A calendar is shown giving dates of the holidays present and future. Jesus celebrated these feast and we need to understand them even if we do not celebrate them as the Jewish people do.
Printed in full color, a great addition to your reference tools and used for Bible Studies, discussion groups or just for your own understanding. They are important part of the Bible and be a part of a Christians studies.

My only wish is that it was a bit thicker...the paper I mean. They could have have put it on heavier card stock . Overall I am pleased.
Ann5 Stars Out Of 5Compact yet thoroughMay 1, 2015AnnQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Thank you for combining this information into a handy study tool for bible students. Just finishing a study in Revelation, the end times are near therefore we believers in Christ should be aware of the promises to the Jewish nation and what they believe. This is a way to quickly view pertinent information on nine Jewish feasts. It is a compact pamphlet which folds neatly and takes up little space on the book shelf. I have a DVD study of the Passover that is quite educational, but the pamphlet is easy to carry and study without a DVD or computer. The Feasts of the Bible are sacred to the Jewish nation and to God. But as Christian we can see the elements of our Messiah in every feast. A good amount of information can be found under fascinating facts and general information, but my favorite section is titled Yeshua and elaborates on how Jesus can be represented in each feast. As a bible study teacher this is a wonderful reference telling when the feast is observed and the biblical reference.
Steve LucasAtenas, Costa RicaAge: 35-44Gender: male3 Stars Out Of 5Good overall for the gentile audienceApril 24, 2015Steve LucasAtenas, Costa RicaAge: 35-44Gender: maleQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Overall a handy and informative guide to Biblical feasts, the final sentence of this Rose Publishing pamphlet might be one of the most important: Some titles, spellings, dates, pronunciations, traditions, interpretations, and customs vary. That is probably a good assessment of any tool used when dealing with Jewish history and tradition. As they say, get 10 Jews in a room and you will come out with 11 opinions. (The same might be said, of course, for many Christian denominations!)
Before my review, I had a Messianic Jewish friend take a look at it. I didnt ask him anything other than to give me his impression. What I received back was a handful of corrections and the overall impression that the mix of biblical and rabbinical traditions (under Fascinating Facts) could be problematic for the layman who may not be able to differentiate the scriptural from the traditional. The importance of this point depends on your point of view. For me, the Biblical is absolutely trustworthy; whereas, anything arising from tradition we must take with a grain of salt.
The booklet presents the information in two spreadsheets. The shortest is simply a table that identifies the modern dates for each of the feasts, from 2011 to 2018. The larger spreadsheet breaks down each feast according to its names, dates, scriptural basis, general information, how it relates to Jesus, and other fascinating facts.
And while it may not be the best resource for working with the Jewish or Messianic communities, nonetheless, it is a handy guide to the Feasts for the predominately gentile church.
(Full disclosure: I received a review copy of this booklet from Rose Publishing. However, the view expressed here is mine.)
