Product Description

Paralyzed by insecurities, self-doubt, and feelings of failure, many Christ-followers fall short of their God-given potential. This spirit of fear does not come from God—God has given us the gift of courage!

In Fear Not, Ed Love unpacks eleven biblical stories in which God commanded someone to "fear not". Each story exposes a common fear and will challenge you to face your fears and follow in faith. You'll discover how God uses ordinary people to accomplish his extraordinary purposes.

Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  Throughout my life, I have led ministries and planted several churches. Currently, I serve as the Narrative Pastor at The Well Church in Ionia, MI. In addition to being a pastor, I am the curator of the Greenhouse Planting Network, a CP training catalyst for the Wesleyan Church, and a professor of church multiplication at Wesley Seminary.

I love learning. Over the years, I earned a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from George Fox Evangelical Seminary. Along with learning, I also enjoy teaching and pining-down my thoughts on paper.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I wrote Fear Not after I journeyed through some of my deepest fears. I truly hope that some of the biblical insights within Fear Not will bless your soul and stir your heart toward the courageous way of God.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope readers will overcome their greatest fears and find new potential to help God's kingdom expand.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  C.S. Lewis once said, “Writing is like scratching an itch.” This is true for me. I’ve written five books. Each book was an itch scratched. Fear Not was birthed out of wrestling with my own fears and finally coming to a point where I was willing to break through. The insights from Fear Not are not theoretical--they are experiential for me.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  N.T. Wright Robert Mulholand Andy Stanley Mark Batterson Jon Allen My wife, Emily.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  God's gift of courage is for you!
