A great book. After reading The Bait of Satan for another Bible class, this reading was as inspiring and enlightening. John's remarks about the difference between God omnipresence and God's manifestation is worth the price of admission.

As for the negative comment dated 7/17/13: "If God is depending on human beings to do anything before He moves we are all in a great deal of trouble!" Response: II Chron 7:14 "If my people will . . . Then will I . . . "

I have not finished reading this book. However I agree with the author that the Body of Christ needs to examine their relationship with the Lord. Are we putting God first above all else in this world? Do we honor and reverence Him and worship Him ? Do we know what is on his heart? Have we sought the mind of Christ?

I felt led by the Holy Spirit to buy and read this book, and it is one of the most truthful and needed books in our world today. I love and repect John Bevere as an amazing, honest, truthful, loving minister, author,and man of god. I am greatful that he is led by the Holy Spirit and not moved by greed, popularity, or any other pressures on leaders in our society today.

I am not even a quarter of the way through the book and I have already gotten my money's worth. Great book. It is time that we get back to the basics. If you want to draw close to God than first you must have this Holy Fear and revere Him. We can not count the stars in the sky yet, God placed each one with his fingers and He calls each by name. We are so busy praising God that we have forgotten that even Jesus told us to fear God. When I tell people I fear God, they say there is something wrong. Thank you, John Bevere, for getting me back on the right track. Everyone needs to read "The Fear of the Lord".

Our weekly adult Bible Study group is using this series. We show the DVD and then our pastor leads us in a discussion.

It has been a blessing to the group with tremendous insights from scripture. We need to hear this message series as many have lost sight of the fear (awesome/majesty/reverence) of the Lord. John Bevere teaches the basic principles of God's

character and brings back balance of the fear of the Lord and the love of the Lord. It is proving to have a great impact on those attending the study.
