Publisher's Description

Is the world limited in opportunities and resources, or is it unlimited, with boundless possibilities and blessings? If God is the source of all things and He is unlimited, then life is a treasure basket of dreams just waiting to become reality. Right? Although you may easily speak this truth, you don't always live as though you truly believe it. And the primary reason for this contradiction between theory and practice is that you are controlled by fear. God has given you authority and influence and wants to set you free from the power of fear and intimidation. Because Jesus faced death head on, overcame the grave, and is now alive in you, no longer are you bound by fear and intimidation. Instead, your life will reflect the truth that God has a plan for your and is doing something big in and through you. In No More Fear, Ashley Evans will take you on a forty-day journey to confront your fears, to better understand who God is and the authority He gives you, and to start down the path that leads to victory. "God had a plan for my life, but the Enemy had a plan for it too," he writes. "Fear is the primary tool the Enemy wielded against me. He wanted me to settle for less than what God had planned for me."

In No More Fear, Ashley Evans guides readers on a forty-day journey to break the power of intimidation, showing them how to live a life of victory, dominion, and authority. Written in a friendly, conversational tone, the author brings a two-fold perspective to the topic--as pastor and practitioner. I appreciated the sound theological framework; however, I found the author's vulnerability as he recounted stories from his own life most compelling. I found myself breathing a sign of relief as I recognized, "I'm not the only one." The author's insights were fresh, which challenged me to consider fear from angles I had not considered in the past. In fact, while reading the book, I found freedom from an area of fear I didn't realize I had! While the author concedes that feelings of fear, intimidation, and defeat are normal, he emphasizes, "What is most important to remember is that while those feelings exist, we are not captive to them." Definitely a worthy read. One that I will wholeheartedly recommend to others.
