This makes writing easy for my child as the focus for the week on a few new points and building from previous weeks.

This resource is working well for my 4th grader who previously shied away from writing. My older children were introduced to the IEW method through faster paced resources, at a later age, and it seemed like "too much too fast.". However, introducing the dress ups at this pace seems ideal for grades 4th and 5th graders.

Great writing resource! I wish I had this while I was teaching my own kids to write. Im using it to teach my grandaughter in a co-op.

I really like this resource. It is an affordable option for a IEW resource. My kids enjoyed the lessons for about 4-5 months (until about Chapter 8-9) at that point I think they either burned out or it got too complicated for them to grasp. (ages 8 and 10). I hope to eventually get back to it but right now we are taking a break.
