I just finished re-reading this...it's so good, I pulled it back off my bookshelf for a second read! Although it's not a sequel, I haven't read the first book and that was no problem. I still understood the whole story, and enjoyed the characters and their stories. If you are a dog lover, you will definitely love this story! The main characters are twins who are in different seasons of life. Wanting to support one another while still living their best life is a struggle, and it's one that many of us can relate to! The story keeps you engaged and wanting to know what's next. I found this to be a quick read- started and finished it in one day (vacation day!) This book is a great read, and includes a couple of tasty Amish recipes at the end. I highly recommend it!

The Farmers Market Mishap is a wonderful sequel to The Lopsided Christmas Cake written by Wanda Brunstetter and Jean Brunstetter. In this book we continue learning how twins Elma and Thelma Hochststleras lives are progressing. Thelma has married Joseph and is expecting their first boppli. Elma is still looking for a good Amish man while tending to the general store.

While at the Shipshewana Flee Market Elma meets a wonderful Amish man, Ben. Thelma is worried about Elma falling in love with Ben and moving to his home town of Grabill. It is a time that Thelma needs her twin the most. Will Elma form a relationship? Will Elma do as she always has and put her twin first?

Because of a long distance relationship there are alot of complications and Elma is trying to decide if it can work. What does Ben do to try to win Elma as heart? What role does Ben's mom play in his love life? Will Thelma and Ben find their way to each other or are there just to many complications?

I have received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing but I was not required to post a review. I have rated this book with five stars for a wonderful addition to the sequel and also meeting my expectations. I highly recommend this book to all those who love the Amish genre and Wanda Brunstetter.

Congratulations to Wanda Brunstetter and Jean Brunstetter for releasing another great book. I will be watching for more books from them in the future.
