Publisher's Description

A Baby Boomer's Guide to Middle-Aging in Style You're sandwiched between busy teenagers and aging parents. You're trying to balance faith, money, a demanding schedule, and that TV dinner on your knee. The only success you might claim is that you got out of bed this morning (after, unfortunately, not receiving breakfast in bed). You...and countless other baby boomers. Middle-aging with grace and style: is it possible? In this enjoyable, insightful book , Phil Callaway admits there's not much that can be done to stop the wrinkles, but there's plenty to ease the worries. You'll discover the difference between money and true wealth, and you'll clarify what really matters in life. A humorous read full of encouraging stories straight from the "middle ages," it will light your way with a laugh and renew your hope in God.

I laughed, I cried, I read sentences, paragraphs, pages to my spouse. Being in the middle can hurt, you need to be able to find something to laugh about when you are there.

I kept wiping tears of both joy and sorrow as I read this book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. While nursing aging parents, I have read deep books with lots of answers, but this book was head and shoulders above them because Phil is so real about his own journey. The answers are here, but in story form. One of the most helpful books I've ever encountered.

Phil Calloway presents it as it is with the humor that is tasteful -- not sacrilegious at all. The book gives the reader something to chew on... leaving him with a delighted heart, refreshed spirit and pleased mind.

This is an excellent book. I was only expecting a light hearted book that would make me laugh. The book is definitely that but it also gives you insight on raising kids and taking care of your parents.

I heard this book recommended by Dr. Laura and promptly purchased one online. I thought it would be more serious than it was, but the humor was so welcome because times have been very serious for us (I am nursing my mother who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's). I have been blessed so richly by the hope and wholesome laughter this book has brought into our home. Thanks!
