I love books, journals, and planners. So I had high expectations for this planner. It met them and more. This can be used on its own or used in combination with her book "The Family Garden Plan." It has great advice and teaches you step by step when to seed start (if you want to seed start), when to plant, and gives you places to write down: what you want to plant, when to plant, a calender to keep track lf everything, and so much more. Which is great for beginners or long time gardeners. I have gardened in some form big or small almost my whole life. This planner took a lot of guess work and stress out of planning a garden. I am so glad I found this planner.
