I've used this for two of my children and they enjoyed it. It covered so many good subjects sewing, cooking, home decorating, car repair, how to complete taxes, budgeting, child care, relationships and marriage!
From the first booklet, make-up, manicures, weight, homosexuality and such is introduced. In my opinion, those values belong to the family to touch base on, not a school curriculum. It's one thing to teach health, it's another to influence the girl, indirectly, on how to be more attractive and carnal.
Another disappointment is the booklet that deals with dating/marriage. It encourages dating with multiple partners. Purity and marriage, as being a sacred thing, is merely touched on. In my opinion, this course leans more secular then conservative.
As the other reviews stated, this is a wonderful course. Many of the topics are also suitable for boys. They may not be sewing, but they do need to budget, do simple repairs and maintenance, prepare some foods, get along with others, and my favorite, babysit!
