KavRCanadaGender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Captivating readJanuary 9, 2015KavRCanadaGender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Another Belanger family story and this time it's the feisty Danielle who has a chance to play the heroine. We met her in A Soldier's Secret when she was a stubborn teen with plenty of attitude. She's grown some now, and so has the attitude! To grand proportions. Danielle is brimming with passion, simmering with anger and not afraid of speaking her mind...quite plainly. Definitely my kind of heroine! Gregory is no match for her until he shows his softer side. She isn't equipped to cope with kindness and compassionate and understanding. Crackling tension, impossible love and a flight across France make this a very captivating read.

With the countryside on the alert, a trek to the English Channel seems hopeless until Gregory stumbles upon Danielle Belanger traveling with her younger brother. But something about this Englishman earns her respect, yet to help him puts her life at riskand maybe something more.
Falling for the Enemy features feisty and remarkable characters along with a compelling plot and unexpected turns. In this third book in the Belanger series, the author again keeps the pages flying with excellent historical setting and details, along with some great inspirational romance. In this story, the egalitarian ideals of the new France collide with hierarchical English society, providing interesting insight into this titanic struggle. Ascending the spiritual realm, the ideals of equality, forgiveness, love and compassion are also poignantly illustrated. Another great read by this author.
