This book will be a blessing to all who read it. The author has been through figurative storms in her life which forced spiritual growth. As she persevered with God through the pain, she found Him faithful to provide rewards on the other side of her hurts. She speaks from authority that when we do as God asks of us then He blesses with abundance. This is not presented as a transaction or deal made with God as if you do this then He will do that. Rather it is presented that when we allow Him to use our weakness and let His strength show through, mighty big things are released. When we stop thinking everything depends on us and instead rely on Him, His glory shines for all to see.
This book has nuggets of healing thoughts to share with loved ones. As an example, I have a friend facing major surgery. Today I read a passage of this book to her about when Noah was on the ark, and he focused on the thought of land being seen again. He did not go down into depression thinking he would always be on the ark with so many animals to take care of. Noah looked forward to the good future God would bring. The weight of my friend's anxiety lifted when she began to focus more on the pleasant outcome.after the painful surgery.
The prayers at the end of each chapter are especially helpful and supercharged with power from the author's relationship with the Holy Spirit. The book would be worthy of a read and keep based solely on the prayers that are right on target.
I thank bookfun.org, the author, and publisher for giving me this book to read and post an review. Hopefully, Christians will read this book and find it to be presented in the equally beneficial and beautiful writings of Cora Jakes Coleman. Read it to become wise in making the most of all the happenings in your life.

Author Cora is the daughter of evangelist T.D. Jakes, who has written the forward for this powerful faith inspiring book. After starting this book, I realized that for me I needed a bible pen to underline key points. Then after reading a little longer I needed a tissue because I was really moved and got teary. A little later I settled in with a cup of tea. This is a wonderful book and definitely hard to put down. It uses God's Word, real life experiences, and some tough love to get her message to readers that we should have faith and not just act like we do. We need to persevere and not quit. We need to trust God and not try to handle things without Him. She shows us that God makes good out of bad. Everything can be a lesson for us, especially the bad times,
This book was a delight. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a boost in their faith, is going through a difficult time now, or struggling with God. This book will help. At the end of each chapter is a moving prayer. Don't skip over it. Throughout the chapter will be inspiration and encouragement that you will want to refer back to many times. I rated this a 5 out of 5 stars. I loved it. Don't miss it! A copy of this book was provided for my honest review from The Book Club Network.

It is a story of spiritual and personal growth in the midst of physical pain and emotional upheaval; a testimony of an ashes to beauty spiritual journey.
Coleman draws from her experiences and those of friends as examples to help the reader identify and relate to the storms of life they face. She goes on to offer important practical reminders for meeting each problem, head on, by claiming the promises of God for strength, comfort, and guidance. She weaves a theme of rediscovering purpose, order, and balance to uncover anything hindering our God given dream, single-mindedness, influence, and potential.
I enjoyed Colemans natural conversational style of communication to draw attention to scriptural tenets and her own personal insights on the process of recognizing our weaknesses to focus on finding our identity with Christ, allowing him to put purpose back into our life; with the goal of becoming world changers for Him.
A reader friendly format, a series of group leader outlines, and the inspiring prayers at the end of each chapter insure the reader of: and increase in faith, and an impact on ministry which encourage an honest self-appraisal and a personal quest for finding our divine purpose.
