|Session 1: A Carpenter Named Joseph||Adam Hamilton||N/A||Album Only|
He started his journey as an unknown carpenter, but Joseph became the earthly father of Jesus. For his part in the nativity story, he faced a situation much like our own - encountering life circumstances he didn't choose or understand. His courageous actions were crucial to the birth of Christ and God's salvation plan for humanity.
In Faithful: Christmas Through the Eyes of Joseph DVD, Adam Hamilton teaches about Joseph and what we as Christians can learn from him. The video sessions combined with the book and leader guide make an engaging 4-week group study for the Advent season or any other time of the year. All video sessions are closed captioned.

Were not that different from Joseph. True, we may not be part of a story that will be remembered for all time, but like Joseph, we encounter circumstances that wed never choose for ourselves. At times, it can be tempting just to walk away, but Joseph provides us a great example of humbly obeying God even when we dont understand, faithfully moving forward in the strength that God provides. Join Adam Hamilton as he examines Christmas through the eyes of Joseph and learn to accept and glorify Gods will even when our situation makes it difficult to do so. Mamam4 Stars Out Of 5Good Advent LessonDecember 13, 2017MamamQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3We always like Adam Hamilton and we liked this DVD, just not as much as some others. Our group felt Rev. Hamilton talked so fast that they had to watch each section twice. The good news is that they wanted to watch each a second time so they did like the content. This made for a nice couple of watch and discuss meetings during Advent. Each segment is fairly short, It allowed time for discussion which meant the leader guide that goes with it was useful.
