This book has been such an encouragement to me. We all go through difficult times in our lives where we question God's plan. This is a book that I have read, highlighted and plan to read again whenever I need a gentle reminder not to give up. Kyle's writing style is easy to read, yet achored in God's truth. We've all been there. We get knocked down by life. Loss of a loved one. Loss of a job. Discouraged by those valleys in life. And it's easy to wallow in grief, pain and bitterness.

For those who have read any of Kyle's books, you'll recognize his style. I cried reading the very first chapter. One of the stories Kyle wrote about hit home. Majorly close to home. But my dog gave me hugs and kisses and I kept on reading. And I wanted everyone I knew to read it to...except I won't part with my copy of the book, so I'll have to order them their own.

I was blessed to have been able to be part of the pre-launch team, which allowed me access to a copy of the book a couple weeks ago. And this review comes from the heart. 2018 was one of my toughest years to date. We lost our baby son and I almost died in the process...and I have never been closer to God. It boggles the mind in a way. But then Kyle is able to make sense of it all. I absolutely recommend this book!

Wow, what a powerful book full of encouragement! I have to say, Kyle Idleman is one of my most favorite authors and a wonderful preacher. Every book I've read of his has been extremely thought provoking and profound. Don't Give Up is full of biblical reminders of courage, faith, and perseverance. There are also testimonies from others who have faced tragedies, trials, hardship, and heartbreak who pushed forward even when most would have just gave up. They all have the same message, Don't give up. This book is inspiring and uplifting. I highly recommend this book and author!

Kyle Idleman hits another home run with Don't Give Up. I was crying, cheering and challenged reading this book. I have given away one copy to a couple going through the challenges of Parkinsons Disease and have ordered three more copies to give away. I will definitely be using it and the video series in the jail where I minister.
