Melissa5 Stars Out Of 5Factual basis backed with scriptureSeptember 23, 2015MelissaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I was very pleased with this book. It is not a Mormon bashing book. It DOES pull historical facts and documentation from Mormon documents and present them in a logical manner as well as using scripture (not opinion or twisted scripture) to make points on the theology of the Mormon church. I can't stand when people pick and choose scriptures to support their point, and these authors did NOT do that. It gave me a very good basis for understanding the Mormon faith without doing years of research. There is much more to learn, and not all Mormons understand the true basic theology of the Mormon church, just like any other religion.
Suzanne2 Stars Out Of 5September 6, 2009SuzanneThis book provides a very interesting perspective of differences between Christianity and Mormonism. As a religious studies major in college, I found "The Facts on the Mormon Church" to be condescending--even negatively argumentative--and not an objective presentation of the Mormon religion and beliefs. I was hoping for the latter, but this book, unfortunately, reads more like a tract than an informational book.
