Shirley W. Mitchell, author and motivational speaker, was writing about the "positive aging lifestyle" before most were even thinking about it. Known today as "the Golden Egg of Aging," Shirley is the owner of the syndicated media groups Fabulous After 50, Sensational After 60, Radiant After 70, and Aging Outside the Box. She writes the Fabulous After Fifty online column and is the author of thirteen books, including The Christian Writer’s Desk Diary, The Beauty of Being God’s Woman, and Spiritual Sparks for Busy Women.
A member of the National Association for Female Executives, American Business Women's Association, Red Hat Society, Diva Web of Fame, and the Lit Chicks Literary Writers Critique Group, Shirley is a Dale Carnegie Graduate and Competent Toastmaster with Toastmasters International.
In addition to spending time with her children and grandchildren, Shirley enjoys traveling and speaking, as well as teaching women how to live and age well. She makes her home in Alabama.
